Thanks, Paul. I knew the French weren't so bad...
An op-ed by Paul Krugman helps us understand why French fries and French toast may remain...and let's not forget French wines...Read on for why I, for one, will embrace the French ever more:

I usually agree with Paul K so I'm looking forward to reading this article.

I, personally, love the French! Especially (as you mentioned) the wine...and of course, their REAL family values. One day...we'll figure out a balance in the good old U S of A. For now...we'll celebrate BOTH red, white and bleus!
One of the funniest conversations I ever witnessed was a German officer and a French officer talking to one another (IN ENGLISH) about a security issue at Kabul's airport (Afghanistan). When the French officer walked away, the German officer (still speaking in English) complained to a Dutch soldier that the French never listen...
The most ironic thing about the modern American Lefty's infatuation with France is that it is only possible because the French have been failures in their efforts to dominate and exploit the world. If they weren't such losers, you wouldn't be singing their praises. You'd dislike them much more than you dislike Republicans. But then again, you Lefties identify with losers; Losing elections gives you an excuse to believe you are too good for the rest of us.
Let's examine this bit of commentary: "Losing elections gives you an excuse to believe you are too good for the rest of us."
That's some of the crappiest crap I've ever seen!!! How would LOSING elections lead us to believe we're too GOOD for the "rest of us". That statement makes absolutely no sense.
I like the French, as a people, because their values are similar to mine. I like spending time with my family. I like having access to local, organic food. I love wine and cheese AND the Louvre!
Has it occurred to you that maybe you right wingers think you're too good for the rest of US?
Ugh. Eightgun. YOU'RE too much.
