Weeping Buddha

I love the idea behind this: the weeping buddha cries so no one else has to.

I learned of him and the concept from a great friend my first year in college. I still miss a little weeping buddha figure from ages ago. He was paired with a key chain I got in Uganda. And my grandfather's dog tags. I really really wish I knew where it was.

It's good you put out this wish to find the buddha and the dog tags and the key chain. This is how all miracles start--with a dream and a vision.

i was thinking that there is a part of each of us that is a buddha also, weeping to help eleviate others' suffering. perhaps, the way samsara (the circle of life) can be conceptualized is that when we cry because of injustices to others, it relieves their suffering for that moment. i dunno. just a thought on our own innate divinity and its impact.

but i Do appreciate both ideas.
