Swimming Holes Still Exist?
The NYT had an article about swimming holes today. I can't help but remember Balinas in the Bay Area. Where planes were too far away to hear them and strangers shared fruit. We swam the perimeter of Bass Lake and watched people swing from the rope swing (we're not all crazy). I miss this when I'm here in New York City. I do.

It's too bad some of us are too f______ stupid to take care of our natural resources, like water, so now we can't enjoy the most simple obvious pleasures in life, like going for a swim, without risk of exposure to deleterious chemicals.
omg I can't read michelle's blog today because she posted about the S[t]FU series finale!

The series finale was AMAZING.
